Toi Et Moi
Toi et moi is French for “you and me.” In jewelry, a toi et moi ring is a two-stone ring with both stones set side by side instead of one traditional center stone. The two are often different shapes, and neither plays the supporting role — the pairing is the whole idea.
It is also one of the oldest engagement styles still in use. Napoleon proposed to Joséphine in 1796 with a toi et moi ring featuring a pear-shaped diamond beside a pear-shaped sapphire; that ring sold at auction in 2013 for close to $949,000.
This collection runs to five pairings across six rings: a heart beside an emerald cut, a heart beside a round, a round and an oval crossing on an open bypass band, an emerald cut and a round each held in its own bezel on a double band, and a pear beside an oval in both white and yellow gold.
Every ring here is set with lab grown diamonds in 14K white or yellow gold. Clarity is VS or VS1, and where a color grade is on record it is F.
Prefer a single stone? Solitaire rings take the opposite approach, while halo rings frame one center stone with a circle of smaller diamonds. Bridal sets pair an engagement ring with a matching band, and the full engagement and wedding rings collection covers a broader range of styles.
